Let's start this year by thinking about a topic everybody can connect to: FOOD. Let's brainstorm about food for just a minute.

and then let's think about the issue of "Finding Solutions to Food Waste: Persuasion in a Digital World".
Notice that we've turned a big topic into an issue that can be analyzed and evaluated.
When images like this are projected on the screen, it is not necessary for you to see every detail. This is what wwe will call a holistic image. Basically, we get the idea that this ia an image of food--all kinds of food, and it is projected on the screen to help you think about our topic: FOOD. You already know what you like and don't like when it comes to food. You have opinions...go ahead and write down what you already know
